Handmade oak leaves and acorns sun catcher. I cut each leaf from a single sheet and then split down into segments. The pieces are then wrapped in copper foil and soldered together. The piece is finished with a copper patina and polished clean.
The leaves can vary in colour – more green, for example, if you prefer. The solder is tinted copper which looks beautiful even at night.
Width is roughly a hand span (16 x16cms at longest points) so it’s a lovely size for most windows.
Comes with a suction hook to hang in your window.
The pattern may vary slightly, as this is handmade. Variations in the glass structure guide the finished item’s details but each will have always have three leaves and 1-2 acorns (depending on the pattern). If you have a preference for colours – e.g. a single colour, one leaf must be red – please let me know.
